Festival short description

The Barichara Green Film Festival is the first and largest environmental festival in Colombia, with a program that features a varied set of free-entry activities including outdoor and indoor screenings of both Colombian and international environmental films; conferences, forums and workshops, categories aimed at promoting and fostering the development of audiovisual initiatives and the creation and execution of new environmental film projects; ecoworkshops intended for all audiences to promote environmental education through reusing discarded material and the creation of useful objects to help diminish the impact on nature, a Green Market, art and science exhibitions and environmental acivities such as tree plantings and cleaning of local water sources.
