Ecozine Film Festival was born in 2008 and was created by the Ecozine Cultural Association in close collaboration with various organizations and institutions, with the Zaragoza City Council being the co-organizer of the festival. Since its foundation, the festival has grown in prominence among an audience that is more committed every day to issues related to the environment. Today Ecozine has offices in Zaragoza, Pamplona, ​​some municipalities in Aragon and Valencia.
